It has been fourteen months since the wrangling over the details began, but The Google Settlement finally got it’s day in court, with the DOJ arguing forcefully on behalf of the U.S. Government for the deal to be rejected.

In case you’ve not been following the matter closely, it is Google, the Authors Guild, and the AAP, vs. the U.S. Department of Justice and those of us who oppose the deal.
